Sobyanin spoke about the plans for road construction in Kommunarka and Yuzhny Butovo

More than 5 km of roads will be built and reconstructed in the metropolitan areas of Kommunarka and Yuzhnoye Butovo. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told about this in his channel in the MAX messenger.

Construction will be carried out in the area of the fourth section of the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway, which runs from the Novomoskovskaya metro station to Polyana Street. The project provides for the reconstruction of part of Polyana Street from the exit from Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye Highway to house No. 42, the construction of a section of Kuprin Avenue from Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye Highway to the Projected passage No. 7048, the creation of a section of main street from the Projected Passage No. 816 to Bartenevskaya Street, the reconstruction of Alexandra Monakhova Street from Solntsevo highway — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway to Kuprin Avenue, as well as the construction of an overpass passing through Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway. In addition, exits from the overpass will be built, and reconstruction will take place on Bartenevskaya Street, during which the roadway and side passage will be updated. Bike paths will also be laid along Polyana Street. Completion of construction and reconstruction is scheduled for 2027.

According to the mayor of the capital, as a result of the improvement of the road network, transport accessibility and intra-block connectivity will be increased in the districts of Kommunarka, Yuzhnoye and Severnoye Butovo. As a result of the improvement of the surface public transport network, residents will be able to get to the Potapovo metro station faster, and improved transport connectivity between Kuprin Avenue and Alexandra Monakhova Street, Polyana Street and the Projected passage No. 816 will help organize through traffic through the Solntsevo — Butovo — Varshavskoye highway.
