Old tire recycling plant to be built in Khabarovsk Territory

An old tire recycling plant will be built in the village of Rakitnoye in the Khabarovsk Territory. The project is being implemented by the Tire Resource Company, becoming a resident of Khabarovsk TOP.

It is planned that the plant will process 10 thousand tons of rubber every year. Next, the products will be sent to the production of new materials, writes IA AmurMedia with reference to the press service of the regional government.

It is planned to create a closed technological chain that will allow to recycle up to 100% of tires without leaving waste.

The plant is scheduled to open at the end of 2028. The investor will invest about 126 million rubles under an agreement with the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. At the first stage, 13 jobs will be created. According to Pavel Kuznetsov, director of the Tire Resource company, she can receive tax benefits, administrative support and the possibility of preferential provision of land and infrastructure, being a resident of the TOP.

The agency writes that 130 residents are currently implementing projects at Khabarovsk TOP. The volume of investments exceeds 435.4 billion rubles, and almost 21,000 jobs are being created. The business has invested about 357 billion rubles in the regional economy. More than 13,000 jobs have been created.

Earlier it was reported that greenhouses of four agricultural producers are to be modernized in the Khabarovsk Territory. About 43 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for these purposes. In 2025, the list of options for how to use the funds received was expanded for recipient enterprises. Thus, the subsidy can be used to purchase modern equipment used for packaging products grown in greenhouses.
