Uniper's subsidiary plans to recover funds from Gazprom over the OPAL gas pipeline
The German company Uniper plans to receive a payment from Gazprom for pumping gas through the outlet from the Nord Stream — OPAL. This is stated in the materials of the Russian arbitration court on January 26.
According to Interfax, Lubmin-Brandov Gastransport GmbH (a division of Uniper Global Commodities SE, owns 20% of OPAL's severance from Nord Stream) initiated arbitration proceedings at the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce with a hearing venue in Geneva.
