Veronika Ganich is a Russian actress, journalist and TV presenter, better known to viewers as Nika Ganich. She gained wide popularity for her role in the series "Kulagin and Partners" and as the author of the project "Geography for taste" on the TV channel "Kitchen TV", in which she introduced the cuisine and sights of Russian regions. Member of the National Guild of Chefs of Russia.

Family and education

The actress was born on July 22, 1966 in Kirov. Information about her parents and childhood was not publicly available, which the presenter herself later explained by her desire to separate her personal life and professional activities. It is known that her interest in art and the stage manifested itself early enough, which eventually led her to Moscow.

In 1987, she successfully graduated from the Shchukin Higher Theater College, where she studied at the course of the outstanding teacher, People's Artist of the USSR Evgeny Simonov. The training laid a solid foundation for further profession. However, Ganich's range of interests was not limited to the stage. Later, she received a second higher education, graduating from the Faculty of Journalism.

Veronika Ganich's first serious media experience was working for Radio Maximum. Then she moved to television, where she consistently worked her way up from correspondent and editor to editor-in-chief of news programs. She became widely known after starting work on the NTV channel. In the morning broadcast of the program "Morning on NTV" Ganich led the author's column "Style", dedicated to fashion and lifestyle.

Ganich was also a co-host of the program "Saturday Night" on the TV channel "Russia 1" and prepared reports for the morning show "Good morning, Russia!". Her energy, cheerfulness and ability to work in the frame have gained recognition from colleagues and viewers.

Filming: iconic roles

As an actress, Veronica Ganich was in demand in the cinema. Her acting debut took place in Valery Kurykin's film "The Place of the Murderer is Vacant..." (1990), starring Andrei Smolyakov. Later, she starred in several more films. Her most notable role was in the detective series Kulagin and Partners. Ganich played the assistant of private investigator Leonid Kulagin.

The detective television series was broadcast on the Rossiya-1 channel for about 10 years, from 2004 to 2013. In total, more than 3,000 episodes were filmed. Her filmography also includes roles in the TV series Ticket to the Red Theater, or The Death of a Gravedigger (1992) and Garages (2010), where she worked with such actors as Oleg Basilashvili, Alexander Fatyushin and Roman Madyanov.

The Geography for Taste project

A special page in the life of the actress and journalist was the large-scale tourist guide "Geography for Taste", in which she created gastronomic guides to Russian cities. It features gourmet restaurants and city cafes where you can taste authentic local cuisine.

The project has received high recognition in the professional community. One of the issues dedicated to Tula was awarded the Grand Prix at the All-Russian competition of Gastrotourism projects. In addition, Ganich organized specialized food tours in France and published a book of New Year's recipes "The Best Day of the Year", which was awarded the Food Show Awards.

Nika Ganich died on January 25, 2026. Yulia Enkova, a PR specialist in the restaurant industry, announced her death. The specific diagnosis was not disclosed. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was a serious oncological disease.
