As a result of the attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the LPR, power facilities and a school were damaged

In the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), as a result of strikes by Ukrainian drones (UAVs), power facilities in three municipalities, including Lugansk, as well as a school in the village of Yubileynoye, were damaged. This was announced on January 26 by the head of the republic Leonid Pasechnik.

"At least ten drones were sent towards the power facilities of three of our municipalities, including Lugansk. <...> In addition, this morning in the village of Jubilee, an enemy drone hit one of the schools," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Pasechnik noted that restoration work at power facilities will begin after the threat of repeated attacks is lifted and safe conditions are provided for the inspection of equipment. The school in Yubileyny, where a drone crashed onto a playground in the courtyard, has been switched to distance learning. As a result of the detonation of the drone, windows were broken in the building and the roof was damaged. No one was injured as a result of the strikes.
