Almost half of Russians expect a salary increase in the first half of 2026. This was announced on January 26 by the services "Work.<url>" and "SberPodbor" according to the results of the study.

"15% of the survey participants expect a salary increase of less than 10% in the first half of the year. 18% of respondents predict a salary increase in the range of 11-25%, and 6% of respondents expect an increase from 26-50%," RIA Novosti cites research data.

According to the study, 31% of respondents hope for an annual salary increase, 29% associate expectations with achieving high results at work, 15% — with career advancement, 10% — with the promises of management, and another 10% — with the financial success of the company in 2025.

Deputy General Director of "Work.<url> Alexander Veterkov noted that in 2025, businesses faced a ceiling of opportunities in the salary race, but in 2026, the dynamics of salary supply growth will continue in the most important industries.
