The Russian military has begun using new UAVs (UAVs) with increased payload "Upyr-18" in the Kupyansk and Konstantinovsky areas of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on January 26 by the press service of the Uraldronzavod manufacturing company.

As the company reported in a conversation with TASS, the drones were named for their 18-inch frame. This type of UAV is capable of carrying a 10 kg mine for tens of kilometers to destroy fortified dugouts and enemy positions.
