In Mexico, at least 11 people were killed in a shooting during a football match at the Campos de las Cabanas stadium in Salamanca, Guanajuato State. This was reported on January 25 by the Quinta Fuerza portal.
"Everything was going as usual until armed men arrived in two pickups. Four of them came out and started randomly shooting at those present, among whom were women and children," the publication says.
It is noted that the shooting lasted several minutes. About 100 gun casings were found at the scene. The attackers themselves fled by transport in an unknown direction.
It is specified that doctors pronounced the death of 10 people on the spot. Another victim died on the way to the nearest medical facility.
The identity of the suspects and their motives have not yet been clarified. Law enforcement officers are conducting a check to establish all the details and circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, on November 29, at least six people were killed in an armed attack on the La Resaka bar in Mexico. It is noted that the attack was carried out at night, around 1:30 a.m. local time (10:30 a.m. Moscow time). A group of at least seven intruders broke into the establishment, who opened fire on visitors with AR-15 rifles. Eight people were also seriously injured in the incident.
