Deputy Head of the Russian Defense Ministry Viktor Goremykin will be able to request data from the Central Bank during anti-corruption inspections. This became known on January 26 from the draft order of the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov.
"I order to empower the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation <...> with the authority to send requests to credit organizations, tax authorities of the Russian Federation, bodies responsible for state registration of rights to real estate and transactions with it, the Central Catalog of Credit Histories, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, credit bureaus, information system operators <...> during inspections in order to combat corruption," TASS quoted him as saying.
