The State Duma proposed to limit the number of paid places in colleges

In Russia, it is necessary to introduce restrictions on the number of paid places in colleges, as has already been done in relation to higher education institutions. This was announced to Izvestia on January 26 by State Duma Deputy Speaker Victoria Abramchenko.

"The principles of regulation of paid admission, approved for universities, should be extended to colleges. In a number of fields, such as law, more than 80% of students study for a fee," she said.
