Ukrainians choose dangerous routes to escape from the country
Ukrainians are increasingly choosing dangerous routes, trying to leave the country and avoid being sent to the front. There are cases of attempts to break through the state border. This was reported on January 25 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"In winter, those who want to escape from Ukraine choose very dangerous routes. Ukrainians increasingly prefer to risk their lives crossing the border rather than going to the front. There are more frequent cases when groups of Ukrainian citizens try to break through the border and escape abroad," the source told TASS.
It was noted that in the Chernivtsi region, border guards have increased control on the border with Romania due to the increased flow of draft dodgers. According to officials, the largest number of illegal crossing attempts is recorded in the direction of Romania, followed by the direction of Moldova.
Earlier, on September 12, it was reported that Poland was facing a migration crisis due to the Ukrainian youth. It was noted that Ukrainians aged 18-22 are fleeing from forced mobilization en masse, while there is an opportunity. In the first week of the new rules, an unprecedented increase in the number of Ukrainians of this age group entering Poland was recorded — 10.6 thousand people.
