Two people were killed and another was injured as a result of a grenade explosion in the city of Goris in the Syunik region of Armenia. This was announced on January 25 by the press secretary of the Armenian Interior Ministry, Narek Sargsyan.

"In Goris, according to preliminary information, two people were killed and another was injured as a result of a grenade explosion," he told RIA Novosti.

According to Sargsyan, the criminal police officers are taking measures to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on January 22, it was reported that a man shot dead three passers-by in Lake Cargelligo, Australia. As a result of the incident, two women and one man were killed, and another victim was hospitalized in serious but stable condition. The police identified the suspect and continued their search for him. The Consulate General of the Russian Federation reported that there was no information about the injured Russian citizens.
