On January 25, Florian Philippot, the leader of the French right-wing Patriots party, supported the statement by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, who sharply assessed the speech of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

In his opinion, the EU countries are being insulted by the Ukrainian leader, but they continue to provide large-scale financial support to Kiev.

"Medvedev always speaks very bluntly, but, in fact, he is right: European countries are subjected to harsh insults from Zelensky.… And at the same time they ask for more," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

He pointed out that, despite the tens of billions already allocated, European states reiterate their readiness to provide additional funds and discuss the prospects for Ukraine's accession to the EU in 2027.

Medvedev on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter) on January 24 called Zelensky's speech in Davos a spit in the face of the European Union (EU). He believes that the attacks of the head of the Kiev regime on the Europeans in Davos should have ended with a "flogging."
