The French Defense Ministry tried to justify Zelensky's speech in Davos
On January 25, the Minister delegate to the French Ministry of Defense, Alice Rufo, tried to justify criticism of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky against Europe.
"He publicly starts a strategic conversation with the Europeans about how Europe can become stronger in the world. <...> He can afford it," Rufo said in an interview with Tribune Dimanche.
According to her, it was the speech of a politician who is fighting to strengthen the defense of Europe.
Earlier, on January 22, Zelensky, speaking at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, said that Europe could not ensure its own security. He noted that the situation has not changed since last year.
Zoltan Koshkovich, an analyst at the Hungarian Center for Fundamental Rights, said on January 23 that Zelensky's speech in Davos showed his panic. According to him, the behavior of the Ukrainian leader is an extremely unethical interference in the Hungarian elections.
