Witkoff's translator shared his thoughts before the talks with Putin
The translator of the special envoy of the President of the United States, Steve Witkoff, spoke about his thoughts before the talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. On January 25, journalist Pavel Zarubin published footage of an American's conversation with his Russian counterpart on the sidelines.
The American translator shared that his attention was attracted by the high vaulted ceiling in the meeting room.
"When I see the dome professionally, that's all, I understand what's ahead. The fact is that for the translator, when there is a dome, there is an echo. And sometimes, when we see a large conference table and there is a dome, the speaker is often not very well heard," said the translator.
