Starting from September 1, Russian banks must switch to a single QR code for all transfers. This is reported by TASS with reference to a letter from the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank Dmitry Tulin.
"Starting from September 1, 2026, all credit institutions will have to use it (a single QR code - Ed.) for any money transfers using QR codes," the letter says.
