Germany pointed to a possible change in the EU's course towards Ukraine due to corruption

The European Union (EU) may change its attitude towards Ukraine amid corruption scandals in the entourage of President Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported on January 24 by the German newspaper Berliner Zeitung (BZ).

"This case highlights a structural problem in the EU's policy towards Ukraine. <...> In light of the growing financial flows and ongoing scandals in Ukraine, the question arises whether the EU will be able to politically support the current course towards Ukraine," the publication says.
