Kamchatka has received a batch of equipment from Moscow for snow removal

An AN-124 Ruslan military aircraft delivered special equipment from Moscow to Kamchatka to clear the snow that fell in the region during the cyclone. This was announced on January 24 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Solodov.

"The military An-124 Ruslan has arrived in Kamchatka with a new batch of special equipment from Moscow. A combined road vehicle and two excavators were delivered on the flight. The equipment was transferred to the region free of charge and will replenish our fleet. The machines will be brought to the clearing lines as soon as possible," Solodov said.

According to the governor, several more shipments of equipment are expected to arrive aboard the Ministry of Emergency Situations and a marine vessel.
