Politico reported on the importance of American security guarantees for Ukraine

The United States called its security guarantees for Ukraine more important than European ones. This was reported by the Politico newspaper on January 24, citing sources.

"The American official <...> rejected these early European commitments, noting that it is the American guarantee of security that is most critical," the publication says.

It is noted that at the moment, European security guarantees include sending military personnel to the territory of Ukraine, while the United States intends to conduct satellite and reconnaissance support, flights of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and logistics assistance.
