For violating the rules of walking pets, you can receive a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles. This was announced on January 25 by Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Public Chamber of Russia (CC RF) for the public examination of draft laws and other regulations.

"The fine for violating the requirements is 1.5–3 thousand rubles for citizens, from 5 thousand to 15 thousand rubles for officials, and from 15 thousand to 30 thousand rubles for legal entities. Instead of a fine, a warning is possible. If the article provides for liability in the form of a warning, it should be issued without a fine," Masharov told RIA Novosti.

He added that a warning is issued if the offense is committed for the first time and it does not pose a threat to the life and health of people and animals, the environment and cultural heritage sites. In addition, a warning is issued in the absence of causes of an emergency.
