The State Duma proposed legalizing the use of AI in education

In Russia, it is necessary to partially legalize the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education. On January 25, Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, sent such an appeal to Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education.

"Against the background of the active development of modern technologies and the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence-based technologies, it seems advisable to consider partially legalizing the use of AI tools for educational purposes through the creation of a centralized digital environment," RIA Novosti quotes a fragment of the letter.
