Unknown assailants attacked the private house of the head of the Bremen Land Office for the Protection of the Constitution, Torge Koehler, with paint. This was announced on January 24 on the website of the Bremen Police press service.

"According to the available information, the attackers threw Christmas decorations filled with paint at the wall of the house. They also smashed windows and punctured tires of a car parked nearby," the publication says.

It is noted that no one was injured.

Bremen's Senator for Internal Affairs, Dr. Eva Hoegl, said she strongly condemns the attack on the president's house and called it an absolute violation.

The investigation is being conducted by the State Security Service of the Bremen Police.

Earlier, on December 21, it was reported that unknown persons doused the Polish consulate in Brussels with red paint, wrote offensive slogans on the facade of the building and scattered dog droppings in front of the entrance. It was noted that the incident occurred on December 18 before the summit of the heads of the European Union (EU) countries.
