Ukraine has increased electricity imports from Europe

Ukraine has increased its electricity imports from Europe due to the emergency situation in the country's energy sector. This was announced on January 24 by one of the Ukrainian companies on the official website.

"In order to stabilize the situation in the energy system and in compliance with the government's decision <...>, electricity imports from Europe were increased this week," the publication says.

It is noted that the volume of purchases of imported electricity covers more than half of the needs of all the company's enterprises.
