Boris Belousov, the last head of the USSR Ministry of Defense Industry, died at the age of 92. This was announced on January 24 by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"He worked his way up from a senior engineer to the secretary of the Izhevsk Motorcycle Factory party committee, then held the positions of head of the defense industry department of the Udmurt Regional Committee of the CPSU and director of the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
