Investigative authorities have opened a criminal case after an accident involving a regular bus in Crimea, as a result of which two people were injured and taken to the hospital. This was reported on January 24 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.
"A criminal case has been opened under part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of citizens," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the Razdolnensky interdistrict investigation department is investigating. The investigators will have to establish all the circumstances of the passengers' injuries, assess the driver's actions and check the condition of the road and traffic services.
An accident in Crimea with two victims became known on the same day. It was clarified that there were seven people on the bus besides the driver. Two passengers were taken to a medical facility with a preliminary diagnosis of "brain concussion, closed craniocerebral injury," the ministry said.
