Two passengers injured in overturned bus in Crimea
In Crimea, a regular bus traveling on the Simferopol – Chernomorskoye route overturned, as a result of an accident, two people were injured. This was reported on January 24 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea.
"According to preliminary data, <...> the driver, born in 1955, <...> did not choose a safe speed when turning right and drove into the oncoming traffic lane, allowing a rollover," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is specified that in addition to the driver, there were seven people on the bus. Two passengers were taken to a medical facility with a preliminary diagnosis of "brain concussion, closed craniocerebral injury," the ministry said.
Earlier, on January 19, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that an accident with a passenger bus occurred in the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region, as a result of which four people were injured. It was noted that the bus driver drove into a ditch with the vehicle tipping over on its side.
