The operator of the Svarog FPV drones reported the destruction of about 500 targets.
The operators of FPV drones of the Zapad group's unmanned systems troops destroyed ground-based robotic complexes and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units in Kupyansky district of Kharkiv region at night. This was announced on January 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"I have only 143 Yagi killed, destroyed by me personally. As it is, there are infantry, equipment, and so on, enemy repeaters, some kind of structures, and dugouts. I don't know, I think it's more than 500 for sure," said the operator of the FPV drones with the call sign Svarog.
The ministry noted that drone pilots also hit reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and heavy quadrocopters of the enemy, disrupting rotations and causing losses in equipment and manpower.
Earlier that day, it was reported that Sergeant Zaur Kolhiev and Corporal Andrei Abrotkin had shown courage in repelling the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Kolhiev shot down the FPV drone with an accurate shot, and Abrotkin single-handedly confronted the enemy assault group until reinforcements arrived.
