The senator spoke about pensions for unemployed Russians
A person who does not have an official work record will receive an old-age social pension in the amount of 8824 rubles. Natalia Melnikova, senator and former head of the Pskov Region Social Fund department, told about this on January 24.
"To a citizen who has never worked, which means he has no work experience and no IPC (individual pension coefficient. – Ed.), the old-age social pension is awarded five years later than the old-age insurance pension (for women at 65, for men at 70). The size of a social pension is a fixed amount that is indexed every year. Starting from January 1, 2026, it amounts to 8824 rubles," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
