The State Duma recalled the way to get an increased amount of maternity capital

When applying for maternity capital after February 1, the family will receive the indexed amount even if the child was born earlier than this date. This was announced on January 24 by State Duma Deputy Alexander Yakubovsky.

"The indexation of maternity capital is carried out annually from February 1 in accordance with the decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation. Therefore, if a family applies for a certificate after this date, the indexed amount of payment is applied, even if the child was born earlier," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
