Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has said that US President Donald Trump is seeking to create a "new" United Nations (UN), which he will "solely own." This was announced by Investing on January 23.

"President Trump is developing a proposal to create a new United Nations Organization, of which he will be the sole owner," the Brazilian leader's website reports.

The Brazilian president called it a critical moment in world politics.
