In Stavropol, the boundaries of the protection of the "Khopersk tent" were approved

The boundaries for the Khoperskaya Tent cultural heritage site of regional significance have been approved in Stavropol. The corresponding order was issued by the regional department for the conservation and state protection of the window, it is published on the portal of legal information.

The memorial was erected in 1976 on Fortress Hill. It was established in honor of the founding of the Khopersk fortress, which marked the beginning of Stavropol. Inside there is a symbolic key to the city.

Now the area adjacent to the object has received clear boundaries. The approved requirements state that economic activity is allowed on the territory, provided that it does not threaten the preservation of the monument, as well as restoration and research work.

At the same time, capital construction, changing the volume of existing buildings, outdoor advertising, excavation and reclamation works are completely prohibited near the fortress.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, the document has already been sent to the mayor's office to amend the rules of land use and development of the city.

Earlier it was reported that archaeological excavations of the Sotnikovskoye-1 burial mound have been completed in Stavropol. Kurgan embankment is located in the Blagodarnensky city district.
