In the Leningrad region, a 14-year-old teenager died during a physical education lesson at school. This was reported on January 23 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (SU IC) in the region.

According to the agency, the tragedy occurred on January 22. During the lesson, the teenager suddenly became ill. After that, medical workers were called, but they could not save the student.

"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence")," the Telegram channel says.

All the circumstances and causes of the incident are currently being established.

A source from Izvestia reported on January 14 that a teenage girl almost died from allergies after taking antidepressants, which she was prescribed in a private psychiatric center. In a private psychiatric clinic, the schoolgirl was prescribed antidepressants, antipsychotics and antiepileptics and discharged on December 30. As the girl's mother, Elena, noted, she was in a good mood after being discharged, but woke up in the morning with conjunctivitis.
