On January 23, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expanded the delegation at the talks with Russia and the United States in Abu Dhabi to include Vadim Skibitsky, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"I expanded the team. <...> I asked Skibitsky to be sent so that there would be military intelligence representatives," the Ukrainian newspaper Glavkom quoted him as saying.
