In Stavropol, the routes of buses No. 5 and No. 12, which are considered problematic, will be adjusted. The changes were agreed upon during a meeting of the new public transport commission in the city administration.

Representatives of relevant committees and public figures took part in the discussion. As explained in the mayor's office, at the end of 2025, there were no carriers for both routes. Following several months of monitoring passenger traffic, the commission proposed changes.

The route of bus No. 12 will be reviewed taking into account the construction of a new residential complex and the concentration of enterprises on Industrialnaya and 1st Promyshlennaya streets. The innovations will make the flight more convenient for citizens and economically attractive for operators.

Bus No. 5, which is one of the longest (about 40 km), will retain its key function of connecting the Mamaika area with the city. Its final stops are expected to be the Tannery and Herzen Street.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, after all decisions are finalized, the committee for the organization of transport services will announce competitions to find carriers for updated routes.

Earlier in January, it was reported that a ring road was planned to be built around Stavropol. A four-lane highway will be built from Nadezhdinsky Circle to Lenta. The project is already at the completion stage.
