S7 Airlines will increase the number of flights from Moscow to ski resorts starting from January 28. This was announced by the carrier's press service on Friday, January 23.
"Starting from January 30, flights from Moscow to Novokuznetsk will become daily. In addition, additional flights from Novosibirsk will be operated to Novokuznetsk on peak days. And from January 28, two additional flights per week will appear on the Moscow – Gorno-Altaysk route, which will increase the total number of departures to five," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.
The press service also noted that flights from Moscow to Kirovsk (Apatity) will resume on February 6. The frequency of flights will increase along with the flow of tourists: from two flights per week at the beginning of the program to six flights by the March peak season.
On January 19, it became known that Natalia Kostenko, deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development, had drafted a bill aimed at ensuring safety on ski slopes. The document is planned to be submitted for consideration in the near future, RT reports.
