- In the prefecture of the Central Administrative District, they told about the help of activists to their fighters
A number of projects are operating in the Central Administrative District, within the framework of which the activists of the district provide support to the fighters of the SVO and residents of new territories, the press service of the prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow reported.
Since 2022, the humanitarian project of the Yakimanka Pokrov district has provided assistance to more than 840 families with children living in the DPR and LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The total volume of parcels collected amounted to more than five tons. Activists collect applications and deliver individual kits to each family. Medicines and baby food are most often required, as well as clothing, bed linen, blankets, pillows, household chemicals and appliances. Whenever possible, activists add toys, creative kits, and stationery to parcels for children. Work is also underway with the administrations of the new territories.
Over the three years of the project, 15 missions have been organized. Sometimes one-time packages are sent to those in need, and regular support is provided to those who need it. In December last year, the project handed over clothes, bedding, food, medicines, as well as children's New Year gifts to residents of the DPR and LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. At least five missions and assistance to 300 families are planned for this year.
The campaign "You're helping! A front-line first aid kit!", which provides fighters and field hospitals with medicines and supplies, also appeared thanks to the activists of the Central Administrative District. It was initiated by Anton Magonov, deputy of the Arbat municipal district. Assistance is provided at the request of residents of the area who are at the front or their relatives. Since 2023, six humanitarian convoys have been sent to the free zone. The activists handed over dozens of stretchers, sets of immobilization tires, containers with medicines, change of clothes, disposable tableware, and sets of personal hygiene items for patients and staff to the front.
