Sobyanin appreciated the Moscow production of asphalt mixtures

In two years, about 1.3 thousand facilities have been renovated in Moscow under the comprehensive street improvement program. All the necessary materials for road repairs and landscaping are produced at Moscow factories, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, noted in his channel on the IACH.

According to the head of Moscow, the first enterprise was launched by the city in 2014, last year their number reached 15. The plants have established a single production cycle with three-stage quality control.

The production of mixtures for road surfaces is dispersed in different districts of Moscow, the mayor emphasized. This significantly reduces the delivery time of materials to the work sites. The capacities of the capital's factories fully meet the needs of the capital, Sobyanin noted.

Russian raw materials are used for the production of mixtures, which are tested in factory laboratories. The city purchases some components from suppliers from the regions under long-term investment contracts.

In particular, Moscow receives high-strength gabbro-diabase crushed stone from Karelia under the offset agreement. It is also planned to purchase a stabilizing additive for asphalt pavements in the Vladimir region.

Last year, landscaping took place at more than 3.7 thousand facilities in Moscow, including over 2.4 thousand courtyards.
