Ukrainian public organizations report on social media that cases of sexual harassment in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) create obstacles for women to serve. This was reported by RIA Novosti on January 23.
"The lack of an effective mechanism providing a sense of security is one of the factors holding women back when deciding whether to enlist in military service," the publication notes.
