The EP deputy called for stopping the financing of Kiev after Zelensky's words

Europe should stop financing Ukraine after the statement of the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky about the inability of the European Union (EU) to protect itself. This was announced on January 23 by Elio di Rupo, a member of the European Parliament and former Prime Minister of Belgium.

"His statements are a spit in the face of the Europeans. This is a sign of contempt for those who have supported his country for the past four years. <...> Great. But let's be clear: now the Europeans must stop paying Ukraine's bills," di Rupo wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
