Military personnel of the 33rd infantry battalion of the 80th separate motorized rifle Arctic brigade of the North group of forces told the details of the liberation of the village of Komarovka in the Sumy region. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on January 22.

"We pass by in short runs, trying to be unnoticed. They'll notice the fight right away. Why, it's better to save people's lives. We try to go unnoticed before direct contact," said the group commander with the call sign Monk.

He noted that during the liberation of the village, the fighters traveled a distance of about 2 km, and were able to remain unnoticed most of the way.

According to the commander of the combined assault platoon with the call sign Eye, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to retreat. There are many people with various diseases among the enemy's personnel.

"And they just fall back. That is, even we don't have time to reach them, they somehow either sense it or something else, and immediately go back. <...> One of them just had a short leg. He couldn't walk or run properly, he just stayed where he was and gave up," the call sign added.

The victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are often civilians who fall under deliberate strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against civilian targets.

"Frosts below minus twenty, snowdrifts and a constant threat from the air. Despite this, progress is underway. Assault groups have been operating in the border area for weeks, marching 15-20 km per day with full force. They spend the night in the field and methodically occupy new frontiers, expanding the buffer zone in the Sumy direction," said Izvestia correspondent Tatiana Simonenkova.
