State Duma deputies proposed to establish requirements for the robot's voice during automatic telephone calls so that it differs from a human voice and does not create the impression of communicating with a living person. One of the authors of the initiative was Deputy Dmitry Gusev (Fair Russia). This became known on January 23.

"The proposed bill is aimed at eliminating this gap: when making mass calls using automated systems, the voice should be clearly distinguishable from a human voice and not create the impression of communicating with a living person," according to the documents available to RIA Novosti.
