- Uspenskaya was proposed to be recognized as a threat to the national security of Ukraine
The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has proposed that the country's Ministry of Culture add Russian singer Lyubov Uspenskaya to the list of persons posing a threat to national security. This was reported on January 22 on the agency's website.
The document states that the decision was made based on the results of official monitoring and analysis of media and social media materials.
"The National Council will contact the Ministry [of Culture of Ukraine] to add the above—mentioned person to the list and send a copy of the decision," the message says.
Among the reasons for adding Uspenskaya to the list are visits to Crimea, the DPR and the LPR, as well as support for the initiative of Russian artist Igor Matvienko to transfer funds for the restoration of cultural heritage sites in the Kursk region.
Earlier, on August 26, 2025, it was reported that the Russian actor Yuri Kolokolnikov was included in a similar list. The reason was participation in films funded from the Russian state budget.
