In 2025, more than 22 million people visited exhibitions and museums in Moscow under the jurisdiction of the Moscow Department of Culture. "During the year, attendance at city museums and exhibitions increased by 30 percent. Muscovites and tourists got acquainted with exhibitions dedicated to history and art, famous personalities and nature, and also participated in educational events and master classes," said Sergunina.

One of the largest projects was the Moscow Museum Week, which brought together more than a million people and almost 100 locations. The promotion is held throughout the year. Within its framework, on a certain day of every third week of the month, you can visit participating institutions for free.

More than 550 thousand residents and guests of the capital were attracted by the action "Night at the Museum", which took place at 170 venues. For the first time in its history, artificial intelligence acted as a virtual guide, suggesting routes and sharing interesting facts about the exhibits.

Thanks to the Museums for Children program, Moscow schoolchildren and full—time college students who have a Moskvich or Moskvenok card can get acquainted with the expositions of the city's exhibition spaces for free. Last year, the guys took advantage of this opportunity over 860,000 times.

In addition, hundreds of forums, concerts, theatrical performances and lectures were organized in the capital's museums.
