President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has once again arrived at a meeting with American leader Donald Trump without a tie.
The published footage from the World Economic Forum in Davos shows that the Ukrainian leader was wearing a black suit, but he was not wearing a tie. In the same form, Zelensky spoke from the rostrum of the forum. At the same time, Trump wore a classic suit with a dark red tie.
Zelensky held talks with Trump in Davos on January 22. The head of the White House assessed the meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart as good. According to him, negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine are continuing.
However, the Financial Times newspaper noted that Zelensky, during a meeting with Trump, could not agree on security guarantees for his country, having suffered a significant setback.
The head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, came to a meeting with Zelensky in October wearing a tie, the colors of which repeat the Russian tricolor. Zelensky, in turn, arrived at the White House for a meeting with Trump in a black jacket and shirt, but without a tie.
