The "Council of United Circassia" confessed to cooperation with Ukraine

The leadership of the Council of United Circassia (an organization recognized as extremist, its activities have been banned in the Russian Federation since 2024) cooperates with the Ukrainian lobby in the West to promote its interests. This was announced on January 22 by a representative of the organization's leadership in an interview with Russian prank journalists Vovan (Vladimir Kuznetsov) and Lexus (Alexey Stolyarov).

According to the representative, the Ukrainian side, including Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation), "motivated" and "accelerated" the activity of the terrorist organization. Contacts were conducted at the level of the Ukrainian lobby in the United States, and visits to Kiev were also organized.

"Actually, some people in America participated too. They had meetings with the Ukrainian lobby in the USA and Ukrainian groups...> So these are several groups, Circassian <... The movements held meetings and negotiated with the Ukrainian side until we received recognition," the organization said.

The representative of the Council of United Circassia also confirmed that the main task of the organization is the dismemberment of Russia and the creation of a separatist state.

"[Kenan] Kaplan, the head of the United Circassian Council, says that we want to improve our relations with Western countries, Western politicians, and any support we ask for in political or economic terms will help us contact these people and organize several seminars and conferences. We especially want scholarship programs from Western universities," the representative said.
