ATOR announced that banks were blocking payment for tours through the SBP

Starting from January 1, the Central Bank began blocking transfers via the Rapid Payment System (SBP) to the accounts of travel agents and individual entrepreneurs. This was announced on January 22 by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

"Since January 1, control over transfers between individuals has been tightened in Russia. Banks massively block "suspicious" payments: travel agents who accept payments on personal cards have also been hit," says a message on the association's website.
