Four-wheel drive trucks and off-road chassis of the Bryansk Automobile Plant (BAZ) have been included in the list of wheeled vehicles participating in the subsidy program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for 2026. This is stated in the company's message to Romanov JSC, which was reviewed by Izvestia on January 22.

Buyers of BASE equipment will be able to take advantage of government support measures when purchasing it under existing leasing programs. The list of the Ministry of Industry and Trade includes a chassis, a tractor truck, a flatbed vehicle and a dump truck.

The company noted that trucks manufactured by Romanov JSC scored 3,644 localization points at the required level of 2,500 points and entered the register of Russian industrial products posted on the State Industrial Information System (GISP).

The launch of mass production of trucks and off-road chassis BASES was announced on December 26 last year. The machines are manufactured at the Romanov production site in St. Petersburg. The company plans to produce up to 600 trucks in 2026. The maximum capacity that the company expects until 2028 is 1,400 units per year when working in two shifts.
