RVIO conference "On improving history teaching in schools" to be held at the Museum of Military Uniforms

On January 26, the RVIO conference "On Improving History Teaching in Schools" will be held at the Museum of Military Uniforms.

The event will be attended by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the RVIO, Vladislav Kononov, Executive secretary of the working group on the development of a unified line of history textbooks, Alexandra Konovchenko, First Deputy Executive Director of the Russian Military Historical Society, Mikhail Myagkov, Scientific Director of the Russian Military Historical Society, and representatives of the pedagogical community.

During the conference, experts will discuss strategic directions for the development of education, new approaches to the study of history, as well as modern challenges and their reflection in the state line of history textbooks.

Mikhail Myagkov, Scientific Director of the RVIO, Doctor of Historical Sciences, will speak on the topic "Modern challenges and their reflection in a new line of textbooks on the history of Russia."
