- The MAYOR launched a communication campaign in support of the hockey project "Red Car YARD"
The communication campaign of the project "Red Car YARD — communication of generations" has been launched on top media platforms in Moscow. On January 22, Roman Rotenberg, First Vice-President of the Russian Hockey Federation, founder of the Krasnaya Mashina Junior School, and Konstantin Major, CEO of the MAER media holding, launched a large-scale media support by throwing a symbolic puck at the new premium location of the media holding.
More than 8 million people will learn about the possibility of free hockey lessons for children right on the streets. On the day of the campaign's launch, novice hockey players and renowned Olympic champions gathered on Rublyovo-Uspenskoe Highway.
"We launched the Red Car YARD project a month ago. During this time, 30 training sessions have already been held at three skating rinks in the Moscow region, and more than 500 children have attended them. And, most importantly, the guys come not only from Moscow and the Moscow region, but also specifically from the nearest cities in Russia. This means that we have found a real need and the format is really in demand. The MAER gives the project powerful information support and scale. Thanks to this, even more parents and children will learn about the Red Car, which means that more children will come to the ice, and we will further expand the geography of the project and make hockey more accessible," Roman Rotenberg said.
The launch of the project "Red Car YARD — link of generations" was supported by the President of the Russian Federation at the forum "Russia is a sports power". The MAER media holding became the communication partner of the project.
"Many famous hockey players, such as Dynamo Moscow legend, two-time Olympic champion and 11-time world champion Alexander Maltsev, said that they started their careers in their backyard. And today hockey is returning to the yards. Any child gets the opportunity to try himself, to play in a team under the guidance of an experienced coach. Our goal is to make as many people as possible aware of this opportunity. Large-scale media support for the project starts today with the opening of our new premium location and will take place in Moscow and the Moscow region. In just 10 days, over 8 million people will learn about the Red Car YARD — Link of Generations project, and the information campaign will provide 150 million contacts with the transmitted information," Konstantin Mayor emphasized.
A series of hockey training sessions for children from 4 to 14 years old under the guidance of professional mentors has already started in Lobnya, Balashikha, Pushkino. Free classes are held on ice rinks in parks. Sports equipment is provided by the organizers.
