Gold prices fell after Trump's announcement of the Greenland agreement
Gold prices dropped sharply at auction on the evening of January 21 amid statements by US President Donald Trump about Greenland. In 25 minutes, gold fell by 1.93%, retreating from record highs, and dropped to $4,762.3 per ounce at a low. Before the fall, the price of gold was $4,855.9 per ounce.
